Meeting Set-Up
Displays
- Locate the control panel on the desk
- Select your displays from the control panel by pressing the “on” button
Presenting from Laptop
- Locate the control panel on the desk
- Select “Podium Laptop” on the control panel
- Locate the HDMI cable and the USB cable on the desk
- Plug the HDMI cable and the USB cable into your laptop (adapters are available on the desk)
- Open your file and drag it to the projector display
- Unplug the HDMI and UDB cables from your laptop when you are done
Presenting from Podium PC
- Locate the control panel on the desk
- Select “PC” on the control panel
- Sign into the Podium PC with your Penn State account
- Open your file – Flash drive port is located on the left backside of the monitor
- Drag your file to the desired display screen
- Sign out of the Podium PC when you are done
Microphones – Located on the right side of the desk
- Select which microphones you want to use (podium, lapel, Handheld)
- Turn the microphone on with the on/off switch
- To adjust the microphone volume
- Locate the control panel on the desk
- Select “Settings”
- Adjust the volume for each microphone as desired
Before you go
- Sign out of the podium PC (if you used the podium PC)
- Select the Windows icon in the bottom left of the screen
- Select the profile icon at the top of the column
- Select “Sign out”
- Shutdown the conference room system
- Locate the control panel on the desk
- Select “Shutdown”
- Select “Yes” to confirm
- Turn off the conference room lights
